Houston Bolt Announces Next Four Signings For the MLIS Professional Team
Your Houston Bolt are excited to officially announce the signing of the next five athletes for the 2022-23 Houston Bolt MLIS Professional season: Cristian Wolter, Irvin Ramirez, Luis Lopez, and Rodrigo Lazo.
Cristian Wolter most recently played with Houston Bolt during the 2021-22 season in the semi-professional Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL): “For me it is a pleasure to play with Houston Bolt for a second season, but now as a professional. I am very excited to have the opportunity to help the team. Here it’s like my second home.”
Irvin Ramirez graduated from the Houston Dynamo program then went on to do a year in NCAA Division 1 at High Point University. From there he played on professional teams in France (Monaco FC), Israel (Ashdod FC) and Mexico (CF Pachuca and Correcaminos FC). Irvin is excited to be back in Houston, playing professionally, but now in the indoor arena: “My favorite thing about playing with Bolt so far is the training, once we really get at it and put in that physical and fitness effort, adrenaline running through my body makes me want to keep playing regardless of how dead my legs are.”
Luis Lopez had previously played with Houston Bolt during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons in the semi-professional Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) and is excited to be back and now playing at the professional level: “My goals for Houston Bolt this season would have to be to bring home a title. We have been inching closer and closer in the last few years and I believe we have a great chance this year! The fans can expect GREAT indoor soccer as we have been prepping for this season with hard work and dedication!”
Rodrigo Lazo previously played D3 soccer with the University of St. Thomas. He is excited to now enter the indoor arena and play professionally in Houston: “My goal for Houston Bolt this season is to help the team win as many games as possible and do everything I can to help the team reach its goals overall. Fans can expect us to work hard for one another and leave everything on the pitch, Hard work and Belief are non-negotiable.”
